Happy summertime to all you Dane Clark Band fans out there! The 8o date Mellencamp tour is coming to an end, and it’s been a really great run here in the USA and Canada. I can’t remember when I had this much fun on a tour that lasted this long! Thanks to all the fans who have made it the best Mellencamp tour, to me at least, in my 19 years here.
The Dane Clark Band is just now starting to book shows for summer and fall, so check the website out for updates. We have been on hiatus for the last 8 months, so all of us are chomping at the bit to play again! Many new tunes are in the works, and will have a few surprises for you long time fans this year.
My youngest daughter, Abigail Rose, will be joining us for some shows at some point this year, and her debut album is about 3/4’s finished. She has become quite the singer and performer, as well as a fine young woman. Stay tuned for news about her project at daneclark.com.
There are 2 new Dane Clark albums that are almost finished now, an Americana one featuring songs written with Fred Koller (who wrote Angel Eyes for Jeff Healey) and Nashville veteran Antoinette Oleson. The other is a alternative/psychedelic batch of tunes featuring the legendary Donovan and my pals Moby Grape.
We will keep you posted on updates about all these things and more here at daneclark.com
Hope to see you all soon!
