I have produced many recordings in the last ten years, including my four projects.
I also produced and co-wrote all of the songs on the debut album by my good friend Jason Sturgeon. Our song ‘Simple Life’ was a successful single in many country music markets across the country.
I produced and co-wrote 8 songs on up-and-comer Corey Cox’s debut album including the ballad ‘One That Got Away’.
I have also produced tracks for Casey Jamerson, Mark Hannah and Claire Arrivo, as well as a christmas album for southern Indiana native Rusty Bladen.
The project that I produced for the legendary San Fransisco band Moby Grape is hopefully going to be released this year. I am very proud and honored to have been able to work with these great musicians and men. We all feel like this is the companion piece to their 1st album, which is considered to be one of the best debut albums by a rock band of all time. There is a performance of some of the Grape classics by members of the Dane Clark band and some of the Grape guys at SXSW in 2010 available on the YouTube link provided on this page. Even though you can’t see me, I’m on drums, Jon E. Gee is on bass, Erik Scull is on guitar and vocals, Omar Spence on guitar and vocals, Don Stevenson on percussion and vocals and Jerry Miller on lead guitar and vocals. Peter Lewis and Bob Mosley of the original band are on the new recording as well. Peter in particular has some great songs on this record, including one we co-wrote called ‘Road to Zion’. Hopefully the Grape will rock again this year. We will keep you posted!!
Most excitedly, 3 of the tracks I produced and played on for the legendary Donovan were released last year on his website. It was a privilege to work with such a kind, gifted and humble man. Hopefully some of the other tracks we have ‘in the can’ will be released soon. Don, you are the best!!
