Greetings to all of you music fans out there, and sincere thanks for checking out our website. 2024 has begun, and there are lots of things to update everyone on.

My podcast with esteemed co hosts Hugh Syme and Andy Wilson has begun its fourth season. It’s been a pleasure for all of us to interview so many great musicians and people in the music business. Please check us out at musicbuzzzpodcast.com.

This is my 28th year as a Mellencamper, and we will be touring throughout March and April. For details check out mellencamp.com. Looking forward to these shows to follow the 78 or so we played last year. Buy a ticket, you won’t be disappointed!

If you haven’t seen it, check out The Dane Clark Band’s promo video filmed at the Brown County Music Center. We are currently booking festivals and shows for spring (following the John Mellencamp tour) and we will be updating this page, so please check back in for more information.

And lastly, Dane Clark and the Backroom Boys will release their 3rd project (my ninth) “Dark Mood Jamboree” in May featuring the multitalented Erik Scull on a variety of instruments, vocals, string arrangements and co-writing a signature song for the project. We will be playing some shows specifically featuring songs from that album in the spring.

Proud to announce the arrival of Memory Mile by Dane Clark and The Backroom Boys on October 21st, as well as the video for the lead off track Riki Tiki Tavi. So honored to have Donovan and his wife Linda in the video with us! Lots of collaborations on this project including Worst Best Friend co-written by Donovan and myself with lead vocals by Donovan and Memory Mile co-written and sung with Elliott Murphy. Other guest artists appearing on this 11 song album are Mark Rivera on saxophone (Billy Joel, Ringo Starr), Jon Herington on guitar (Steely Dan), Dave Roe on bass (Johnny Cash, Dan Auerbach) and co-writes with Fred Koller, Antoinette Oleson, Jason Sturgeon and Tony Burton.
