Lots of things going on in 2012! First of all, there is a feature article in Classic Drummer magazine about me that you can find in the DRUMMING section. Thanks as always to Noble and Cooley drums, Sabian cymbals, Vic Firth sticks and Remo drumheads. You guys are the best!!
I’ll be drumming in Atlanta from late March through mid-May in John Mellencamp and Stephen Kings’ musical ‘Ghost Brothers of Darkland County’. T-Bone Burnett is the musical director and the band is smoking!
I’ll be mixing my newest album, ‘Dream Stealin’ Town’, at the end of February with a projected release date of June 1. A video for the song “Dream Stealin’ Town” is being edited now and should be available in early May. The Dane Clark Band will be debuting the new project in June. Record release and promotional shows will be announced in the next couple of months.
My immediate objective is to make the song/video ‘Over It (For the 99%)’ the “spokesong” for the Occupy Wall Street protestors. It is a movement that any of us who are not the wealthiest 1% of this country should sympathize with. HELP US END CORPORATE GREED!
As I recover from rotator cuff surgery, I am anxious to mix and master my new record and debut those songs with the Dane Clark Band. I am also excited to do some ‘Darkland’ drumming in Atlanta. Stay tuned for updates my friends!!
