Fall Updates…
Hello to all Dane Clark and Dane Clark Band fans! Lots of stuff going on this fall. My new CD, “Postcards From The Hard Road” is finally mixed and mastered and in the duplication stage. Thanks to PJ Yinger for fantastic cover art, Ray Kennedy for great mixing, Patrick Granado for a fine mastering job, and Mike Petrow and Alan Johnson for perfect recording as always!
The video for ‘Dream Stealin’ Town’ will debut here this week. Hope you guys have as much fun watching it as we did making it!
The CD has 13 songs and a bonus version of “Over It” featuring the legendary 60’s band Moby Grape
The album also features John Mellencamp band members Jon E. Gee, Troye Kinnett and Andy York, famed harmonica virtuoso for Willie Nelson, Mickey Raphael, Indiana legends Larry Crane, Jennie DeVoe and Doug Henthorn, Nashville veterens Ray Kennedy, Dave Roe and Pat Severs as well as comrades in the Dane Clark Band Erik Scull, Jack Taylor and Tim Wright.
The new Dane Clark Band played our maiden voyage gigs just last weekend. As well as myself and longtime cohort genius Erik Scull on guitar, keyboards and vocals, we have the great Jack Taylor on bass guitar, and Mark Carnes still tearing it up on harmonica. Our newest additions to the band are the rock solid Steve Brunner on drums and my friend Tim Wright on steel guitar, mandolin, dobro and banjo. These guys have helped us to raise the bar and finally be able to represent our recordings properly. You gotta hear this band!!
Thanks to Sun King and WTTS for a great show with our band and guests Jennie DeVoe and Larry Crane a couple of months ago.
Be ready to hear about some record release shows coming up soon, soon, soon!!
